Edgar Morales

Founder

Ed founded the Alamo Pachyderm Club in 2005. President Emeritus Morales also served as Regional Director of the Grand Order of Pachyderm Clubs. He was elected as a Precinct Chairman in Bexar County and was an elected Delegate for Bexar County and The Republican Party. He is well known in the Republic Party. Ed served 20 years in the United States Army, including Special Forces Units, 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, receiving numerous awards to include valor in combat and a Purple Heart Award. He also retired with 20 years of service from the United States Marshal’s Service, and from 1987 to 1992 served as the Chief of Police in Litchfield, Maine, followed by five years as a Parole Commissioner on the Texas Board Pardons and Paroles. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Maine (1983) and a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University (1984). Ed remains on the Board of Directors for the Alamo Pachyderm Club. He is also an active member of civic, political, military, religious organizations and is active in his church. Ed has resided in San Antonio with his wife Rita for the past 24 years. Rita is a native of the State of Maine.
