Roxanne Mathai

President

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Roxanne Mathai is a proud mother of three grown children and a loving grandmother. She has always had a deep commitment to her family, her community, and the values that shape the foundation of our nation.

Roxanne started her professional journey as a stay-at-home mom, putting family first until her children reached late elementary and middle school. She then pursued real estate, demonstrating her strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. But it wasn’t long before she felt called to serve in a different capacity—one that would ultimately shape her passion for leadership and reform.

In 2010, Roxanne transitioned into corrections, working in a federal unit (Geo) in Karnes City, a position that required Homeland Security clearance. Her dedication and leadership skills quickly became evident, leading to a recruitment by Bexar County in 2012. She rose through the ranks at an impressive pace, moving from the SERT team (Special Emergency Response Team) to Corporal, Sergeant, and ultimately Lieutenant by 2019.

Her passion for conservative values and the fight for justice became even more personal when she attended the January 6th rally in support of President Donald Trump. For simply exercising her right to support a cause she believed in, she faced unjust termination by Sheriff Salazar. Rather than backing down, Roxanne stood her ground, filing a federal lawsuit in 2021 and ultimately winning a settlement in 2024.

This experience ignited a deeper sense of purpose—the realization that real change happens when strong, principled conservatives step up and get involved. Determined to bring positive change to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and the broader political landscape, Roxanne immersed herself in Republican politics. She was introduced to the Alamo Pachyderm Club, where her commitment and leadership were quickly recognized. She was elected Treasurer, a position she held for two years before stepping into her current role as President.

Roxanne has always believed in the importance of lifelong learning and self-improvement. While becoming active in politics, she also earned an Associates of Applied Science in Criminal Justice, passed the TCOLE Jail Administrator Exam, and obtained a Mental Health Technician Certification. These achievements reflect her well-rounded expertise and dedication to public service.

As President of the Alamo Pachyderm Club, Roxanne is committed to educating and informing the people of San Antonio, ensuring that conservative values are not only preserved but strengthened for generations to come. She believes in empowering grassroots conservatives, fostering community engagement, and helping patriots find their voice in the political arena.

Roxanne is proof that true leaders emerge from real-life experiences—from challenges that test their resilience and from a deep-seated desire to fight for what is right. She is honored to lead the Alamo Pachyderm Club and looks forward to working alongside fellow conservatives to defend liberty, uphold constitutional values, and keep Texas red.
